Highlands and Islands Enterprise
The Highlands and Islands General Block Exemption Scheme allows discretionary revenue funding for newly created small enterprises in assisted areas, and for small enterprises newly created by female entrepreneurs. Support can be given towards eligible costs directly related to the creation of the enterprise or incurred during the first five years of creation.
This scheme operates under the provisions of the EC General Block Exemption Regulation (No 800/2008), and Section 1 (Article 14) and Section 2 (Article 16) in particular. More information on the provisions of the scheme can be found here, or contact Melvyn Waumsley on 01463 244 474.
